School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

What's coming up at Pitt Town Public School
Rock Steady music tuition
Date: Fridays each week in the HUB
Enrolled students will learn their preffered instrument/ vocal each week. Future performance to be held in Term 3.
Local preschool visits
Date: Tuesdays throughout Terms 2 and 3
Who: Year 5 students only
All Year 5 students will visit our local preschools (Milestones and Papilio) to read a story and facilitate activities with the preschool children. This initiative aims to support children as they transition to big school by helping to build positive relationships.
Spelling Bee
Date: during Weeks 7 and 8 (exact dates TBC)
Who: Stages 2 and 3
Further information will be given to students and families closer to the event.
Preschool StoryTime
Date: Friday 12 June
Where: library
Children intending on attending Pitt Town Public School are invited to our first StoryTime session with Mrs Hopkins. Please RSVP via email: sharon.hopkins@det.nsw.edu.au and take the time to view our invitation.
Athletics carnivals
3-6 Carnival - Wednesday 17 June
Further information will be sent to families on School Bytes closer to the event.
** Please note that this carnival also includes competitive athletes who turn 8 in 2026.
K-2 Carnival - Thursday 18 June
For all Kindergarten and Stage 1 students to participate in a range of athletics skill activities. Further information will be sent to families on School Bytes closer to the event.
